Yoga
What is Yoga?
Yoga is a powerful method of keeping your body, joints and mind healthy. Started over 5,000 years ago, it utilizes mental focus and deep breathing while performing a series of physical movements. Though many come to yoga for the great physical workout, it’s the incredible flexibility as well as the mental benefit of the practice that keeps many coming back. Real Fitness’ competitive pricing makes this a great bargain for a healthy lifestyle.
Is Yoga for you?
My first impression; heck no was my answer when I hired yoga instructors for real fitness, but they insisted I try a class. After I attended a class I have been grateful for it ever since. I learned breathing exercises to both increase lung capacity and also act as a natural tranquilizer, something I needed running a 24 hour a day business. I learned to appreciate the thoroughness of working through joints and muscles, of being patient and moving slowly and deliberately, getting deep, quality stretches and learning balancing poses to increase concentration. I soon realized it was the most rejuvenating thing I had ever been exposed to.
Now ask me and I’ll tell you: “yoga is an excellent method of getting fit and staying fit, and incredible for stress management.” – Coach Bob
