Class Descriptions (Key: WB=Water Bottle, M=Mat and T=Towel)
Abs - Mat work targeting the abs and core muscles (15 min)
Boot Camp - Learn the moves while getting a great cardio workout! WB (45 min)
Cardio-Kick - Cardio and weight training mix for hitting the upper and lower body. WB (60 min)
Cardio Strength Circuit - Cardio and weight training mix for hitting the upper and lower body. WB (60 min)
Core - A variety of exercises targeting the core muscles. WB & M (30 min)
Indoor Cycle - 45 min. cycling and 15 min. of stretching & core work. WB, M & T (45-60 min)
Indoor Cycle/B&G - Forty minutes of cycling followed by twenty of mat work emphasizing the core. Bring a water bottle, mat and a towel to class. (60 min)
Intro to Cycling - Beginning cycling class including set-up and introduction to the basics. WB (30 min)
Morning Stretch - Improve posture, flexibility and balance with this soothing class. M (30 min)
Muscle Conditioning - A dynamic class incorporating free weights, bands, stability ball and your own body resistance to develop muscular strength and tone. WB & M (60 min)
Pilates Fusion - This class is a fusion of 3 Pilates disciplines: the Mat, Vertical and Reformer movements. By combining the best of Pilates, you will see results in your core strength, flexibility, balance and posture. Class incorporates bands, light weights, stability balls and Bosu. Great class for all ages and levels of fitness. WB & M (60 min)
POWER - Weight training that targets the major muscle groups followed by mat work emphasizing the core muscles-a total body workout! WB & M (60 min)
Sculpt - Weight training and mat work to sculpt the body WB & M. (50 min)
Self Defense/Martial Arts - Learn practical, self-defense techniques, core conditioning and stretching. Emphasis on proper warm-up, stretching for life and 4-5 techniques that every person should be aware of to help defend themselves in many situations. All levels. WB (60 min)
SilverSneakers®MS/ROM - SilverSneakers® Muscular Strength & Range of Movement class. Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, a SilverSneakers® ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. WB (45-60 min)
Silver Sneakers® Yogastretch - Silver Sneakers® YogaStretch chair class. YogaStretch will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standings yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. (45-60 min) Bring a water bottle!
Step Aerobics -Quick paced, low impact. Great cardio & resistance work too! WB & M (60 min)
Step Interval - High energy, low impact stepping – all levels. WB & M (60 min)
Total Fitness - Addresses the key components of fitness-flexibility, strength and cardio. WB & M (60 min.)
Vinyasa Yoga - A flowing yoga style that adapts the practice to each student’s individual needs. Attention focused on breathing techniques and developing advanced skills through weekly progressions and modifications. Early registration and fee required. Classes taught by Marva Brook, R.Y.T. WB & M (75 min)
Zumba - A fun and energetic rendezvous with Latin inspired aerobics. Inspirations from salsa, rumba, and other exotic dances – All levels. Fee required. WB (60 min)
